Senior System Integration Consultant (Germany – remote)
We are looking for an experienced System Integration Consultant to join our Global Agency Solution Delivery team in Germany.
In this role you will lead the workstream responsible for 3rd party integrations, automations, and the implementation of complex Sabre products in agency
conversion projects in DACH region. You will take ownership of Product portfolio blue-print from Sales Engineer/Product & Technology Consultant until deployment and setup is completed. You will take ownership for system integration at customer conversion projects from planning to delivering.
- Planning - responsible for highly structured due diligence engagements to make it a successful transition
- Develops detailed understanding of customers end-to-end business operation, technologies and system architecture including interfaces
- Designs end-to-end workflow in accordance with operational improvements proposed by Sales Engineer and/or Product & Technology Consultant
- Delivers detailed technical business scoping document, which identifies all cutover critical elements and highlights risks Due Diligence executed in collaboration with Delivery Leads
- Delivery
- Installs and configures complex and/or non-standard Sabre products
- Ensures successful integration and configuration of all required interfaces (e.g. Mid/Back Office, Corporate Booking Engines etc.)
- Works closely with technology partners to ensure successful implementation and integration of their respective products
- Owns Sabre installations in complex customer environments including network configuration
- Executes in depth introductions and trainings to customers ambassadors for complex and/or non-standard Sabre or tech partner products
- Supports change management processes to help the adaption to a new system environment
- Engages other experts, developers, and resources as appropriate (Internal and external).
- Identifies new technical opportunities for products, services and revenue generation to feedback to the Sabre product organization
- Customer onsite assistance with floorwalking in a day-to-day operations (responsibility for complex products and smooth operation of end-to-end workflow)
- Enables smooth transition to Product & Technology Consultant once conversion is complete.
- Works closely with customer support teams & across all operational verticals
Requirements:
- Proven technical experience in customer facing situations primarily focused on consulting positioning and implementing technical proposals and solutions within the travel industry
- In-depth experience of working with Corporate and Leisure travel agencies
- Technical expert of development tools, including API’s, Web Services
- Proactive approach to technical problem solving and customer engagements
- Ability to analyze, identify and resolve complex problems in daily operations
- An innovative thinker who has the ability to approach situations from a different yet logical perspective.
- Detailed knowledge of Sabre solutions
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English and German; further languages are a plus
